Story

On Feb 3rd 2019 my brothers & I lost our Dad who suffered a heart attack the day before. Dad was at Wendron Football Club at the time & was helped by some amazing club members & friends along with the Cornwall Air Ambulance. Although, heartbreakingly, he passed away the next day, they gave my family the priceless opportunity to say goodbye to Dad & enabled him to be surrounded by loved ones when he passed. For that, I am eternally grateful & this is my way of showing my gratitude.

Fittingly, the Melbourne Half Marathon ends inside the MCG. The photo of Dad & I was taken outside of the MCG at the Boxing Day Test in 2014.

Donations can be made in any currency so although I know my friends in Australia & throughout the world are not directly affected by this charity, your support is greatly appreciated.
