Story

As well as the Great North 10k in Gateshead this July, I'll be taking part in the Great North Run 2014 this September and yes, the cow outfit is making a come back! I'll be trotting the whole 13.1 miles for charity in memory of Mark.

I'm raising money for Josie's Dragonfly Trust, a really amazing charity that provide cash gifts to young people living with cancer. This provides them with an opportunity to help create special memories with family and friends. They also organise treats for younger patients and provide activity boxes to childrens cancer wards across the UK.

Mark received a cash gift from Josie's Dragonfly Trust which he used for a surprise weekend away for the two of us. The precious memories I have from that break will always be treasured and I cannot thank the charity enough and want to give a little back in return.

This is a really awesome cause and I'm counting on your support to help motivate me with the dreaded training, which is going rather slowly at present (and I still despise running)!
