Our incredible Myeloma UK runners will be taking on 13.1 miles to help make myeloma history.

Story

I am running a half marathon (13.1 miles) for my dear step-grandma who was diagnosed with Myeloma back in November 2019. My step-grandma Pam had always supported me and my mum, also my large family while growing up and I want to give her something back to her.  Currently, she is doing well with treatment and I hope she will be undergoing stem cell treatment soon so we have more time together as a family. x

Myeloma UK's research aims to help patients live longer and live better with myeloma, with a cure as an ultimate goal. Research is critically important because myeloma is a complex cancer with no known cure. It's also relapsing and remitting which means many patients are in desperate need of that next treatment.
