A little bit about me

I am 3 stone overweight and pretty unfit,

I have 12 weeks to loose weight and get fit to run and finish the great north run.

My little godson is one of a set of naturally conceived triplets.

Little derek has cerebral palsy,his triplet brother and sister are fully able bodied.

All little derek wants is to play alongside his triplet brother and sister just as they do upon their feet and walking and running and not on his knees which makes him in a lot of pain and sore.

Little derek has a chance to be like his brother and sister and be able to walk unaided and not in pain and even play sports like any other child.

To help little derek have his wish he needs an operation called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy.

This operation is only available to little derek in the U.S.A and is more beneficial the younger he is.

For little derek to have his wish he needs to raise £60k for his operation,travel and aftercare.

This is where you all come in.
