My WARS Animal Hero Challenge

Fundraising for Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter
£200
raised of £200 target
Do you want to be an Animal Hero? We're launching our brand new fundraising campaign based around the number of animals rehomed the previous year. Choose your own challenge, take part & have fun whilst helping us raise vital funds for our animals.

Story

For this challenge I am going to carry out 189 reps of some form of exercise every day. Could be sit-ups, squats, push-ups or walking 1.89km. It will most likely be a combo of the above, as honestly 189 push-ups are a bit out of my reach!

Not only will this hopefully help raise funds for WARS but also improve my fitness and wellbeing at the same time. Win - Win.

Read on to find out why this 189 challenge exists.

I'm taking part in the Animal Hero Challenge! Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter are facing a severe funding shortfall and a very uncertain future, so I'm doing my bit and taking part in my very own Animal Hero challenge. I might even get a cape too! I'll be taking part in my challenge between the 1st March and 30th April 2021 - but what is it? Well, I'm glad you asked! The WARS Animal Hero Challenge is asking supporters to choose their own challenge based around the number of animals they rehomed in 2020.....189!That's 189 cats and dogs that found loving forever homes, and I'm taking part because I want to help them find loving forever homes for every cat and dog that goes into the Shelter. Please support me as I take on my challenge and remember, every donation makes a huge difference to the animals, no matter how big or small. Thank you.

About the charity

This charity rehomes and rehabiltates unwanted or abandoned animals, cats, dogs and ex-battery chickens. We provide shelter for them until the right home is found. As a small independent charity, we rely on the generosity of our staff, volunteers and local community to keep our work going.
