Story
As
most of you know I found out last year that I had a brain tumour.
Five days later I had a life threatening operation to remove it.
Thanks to those amazing brain surgeons, everything went perfectly and
I am now completely fine. I am such a lucky person and I appreciate
life so much more since this experience. I really feel for those who
are less lucky than me and so I want to do something to raise money
for the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour trust, a charity aimed
specifically at research into brain tumours and providing support for
sufferers. I have decided to swim the length of the Channel in my
local swimming pool. This will be a total of 1416 lengths. I aim to
complete this in 2 weeks (12th -25th August) which means I will need to swim about 100
lengths a day.
