Story
Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to read this. My sister Louise and I are embarking on our biggest challege yet - The Great South Run, which is 10 miles (yes, 10 miles) around Portsmouth running (yes, running). Well, we must be blimmin' mad.
This really is for a great cause. ALD life is a local charity that is close to my heart. ALD stands for adrenoleukodystrophy. It is a genetic terminal brain disorder. My son George is great friends with Ayden who received treatment of cheomotherapy and a bone marrow transplant last year. Ayden's older brother is Alex. Please take the time to read Alex's story by following or typing in this link http://www.aldlife.org/Alex.pdf. If you would like to learn more about the charity please check out the website www.aldlife.org
Now you've dried your eyes, please, please sponsor us! Anything will help, really. I know times are tough. Believe me, it will hurt. Feel that burn!
If you do want to laugh at us it's going to be televised on Channel 5.
Thanks guys,
Claire and Louise
