A big thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I managed to complete the Great North Run on Sunday 15th September, despite the rain and gales -  a half marathon - 13.1miles / 20km in 2 hours and 40 minutes.  It was an incredible atmosphere with 56,000 people taking part.  I have to admit It the last 3 miles were extremely tough and painful, but I am thrilled by everyone's support and donations to a really worthwhile cause. Thank you and if you havent donated yet, but would like to, any more support is more than welcome.

Clic Sargent provide practical and emotional support to children and young people through the terrible ordeal of cancer.  The money you donate goes towards helping those people receive the support and care they need to get through such difficult times. Every day, 10 young people and children find out the shocking news they have cancer so any help you can give will make a difference to their lives.
