We should all have a place to call home but across the UK, thousands of people are without one.
Over the last couple of years, I've learnt a lot more about the causes of homelessness with one of the most startling things being just how easy it is for so called "normal" people to become homeless if circumstances collide together.
I'm supporting Crisis this year by taking part in the Great North Run to help end homelessness for good. I got a place in the ballot but decided I wanted to raise some money for an organisation I support on a regular basis and so am aware of the vital work they do . By making a donation to my page, you will be helping Crisis to provide the vital support that is needed for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness.Crisis help people directly out of homelessness and work to solve the problems that cause it.

You all know I'm more of a plodder than a runner so raising money for a great cause will give me the motivation I need to get the 21km done!
