I will be walking the Memory Walk on Sunday 1st October 2023 with family in aid of the Alzheimers Society for both my grandmothers one diagnosed with dementia early 2020 and the other diagnosed with Alzheimer’s late 2022.

This is a cause that is very close to my heart. I would not be the woman I am today without either of them and I would give anything to look after them the way they have always looked after me, they mean the world to me. As a family we have shared so many wonderful memories together and I cherish every moment I spend with them more now than ever. 

This cruel disease has taken my grandmothers away from me and if this walk can provide more awareness and let people know they’re not alone then it is so worth while.
