Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running 2 half marathons, in a week, having never run one before! The first is the Bacchus half marathon on 14th September, in Dorking, where I will be running dressed as Wonderwoman! The second is the Reigate half marathon on 21st September. In doing so, I would like to raise money for the Lily Foundation who are committed to finding a cure for Mitochondrial Disease http://www.thelilyfoundation.org.uk/

14-20th September is Mitochondial Disease Awareness week. The Lily Foundation is a charity set up with three goals:-

1) To fund research to improve diagnosis and treatment options

2) To raise awareness of these conditions so that they are more easily recognised

3) To support families with sick children.

Currently there is no cure for Mitochondrial Disease.

Please help me to raise money for this amazing charity. Thank you!
