Colin and I are getting on our bikes in August to cycle 60 miles around Stirling, to raise essential monies for Parkinson's UK to provide specialist nursing support.

A special person in our lives was diagnosed with Parkinson's a few years ago. We have seen, first-hand the impact that this condition can have on all aspects of life. Specialist nurses play and essential role in supporting patients to manage their condition from a holisitic perspective.

As many of you are aware, through my work as a Speech and Language Therapist in Moray, I come across many people who suffer from the progressive condition, Parkinson's. I have been lucky enough to witness the invaluable support that specialist nurses provide to Parkinson's sufferers and their families.
