Every year ‘VOLUNTEER’ drivers undertake around 12,000 journeys to The Beatson Hospital - taking patients to and from their cancer treatment. 

🌟🌟……......MY CHALLENGE ……….🌟🌟

To do the equivalent of just ONE volunteer drivers return journeys …… by bike! 🚴🏼‍♀️

My route will be from AYR BEACH to the BEATSON HOSPITAL and BACK AGAIN!! 

🌟🌟84 MILES taking place on Saturday 18th of September🌟🌟

❤️This is an amazing charity who need our support to continue the amazing work they do❤️
AND....
🚴🏼‍♀️This will be my longest cycle ever and I’m expecting a VERY SORE BUM! Yikes 🙂🍑…. 

A little more about the volunteers- The drivers provide transport to people from all over Ayrshire who require transport to a hospital appointment in connection with their cancer diagnosis.  It cost three times more to take a patient to hospital, as now only one patient can go per car, as opposed to three before COVID.
