It's 1st March and I've just signed up for the Southampton half marathon in less than 8 weeks, bearing in mind I've run 3 times since October...

So why... My best friend Lydia and her husband Tim had a baby in January, the lovely little Oliver, who was born with a poorly heart. He's doing amazing and I thought if this little guy can be such a hero then I've got no excuse to not run!

I'm running for Friends of PICU, a local charity in Southampton who support the children and their families by providing vital equipment and services that the local authorities can't always provide.

So please donate to help out not only Oliver but all of the families who need this amazing support.
