Sponsored Lapland Expedition Can the children of West Haddon Primary School travel 1,400 miles together from West Haddon to Lapland before Christmas?! The children, teachers, parents/guardians and grandparents are attempting a virtual expedition - to travel the 1,400 miles it takes (as the reindeer flies) to reach Lapland! They can walk, run, cycle or skate during the next five weeks to make up the distance to reach Lapland. We will definitely get there, if we travel 2 miles each week. With the help from family and friends, we're raising money for the PTA playground project and The Faraway Children's Charity. The funds will be split 50:50 and we have applied for £4£ matched fundraising to support the activity.
