Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am not exactly the sportiest of girls - as evidenced by the photo above - so although it doesnt sound like a lot, a half marathon is quite a challenge. (Although I won't be attempting it in goalie kit!)

Child cancer  is normally a relatively treatable disease, but in low to middle income countries only a third of children with cancer are diagnosed and of those only 20% survive.

£400 doesn't sound like a lot of money but it will pay for a paediatric oncology nurse in Malawi for a year. Just £25 will fund food and transport care for a child and a carer during cancer treatment at the Queen Elizabeth Hostpital in southern Malawi.

If you can spare any money, even the £2 you would use to buy a coffee in the morning, it would be going to an extremely good cause and in exchange I promise to run my hockey socks off!

Thank you so much if you do choose to donate, and if you fancy coming to cheer my on (I may need it!) the Royal Parks Half Marathon is on 7th October. Xxx
