Story

In under 2 weeks I’m running the Oxford half marathon as part of Team Neve. It’s going to be hard and I’d appreciate your support for an important cause.

Team Neve is named after an awesome, spirited, kind 8-year-old girl - a daughter, a sister, a friend. Neve has a brain tumour that can’t be fixed and she is receiving palliative care from Helen House, an Oxfordshire children’s hospice. You can read more about Neve and her family’s story through the link to Neve’s Team on this fundraising page.

Helen House offers Neve, and children like her, the respite or complex medical care they need in a home-from-home environment from a team of specialist doctors and nurses. But this care doesn’t come cheaply.

Without public donations and support, Helen & Douglas House can't be there for local families going through the unimaginable heartbreak of caring for and losing a terminally ill child. To keep providing the care and love these families depend on, the hospice needs to find over £3.4 million a year

Please consider sponsoring me so that terminally ill children and their families don't have to face unimaginable heartbreak alone.
