Story
With a growing sense of helplessness and hopelessness about the sorry state of our planet, wars, refugees, politics, pandemics etc. I heard a quote on the radio from Joan Baez (I also had to look her up!) "action is the antidote to despair" and decided to take action in a very small way and raise some much needed money for young people who find themselves homeless through no fault of their own.
I will be fundraising for Centrepoint which is an amazing charity that supports homeless young people and helps them to break the cycle of homelessness for good.
Christmas eve felt like the perfect night to be homeless, although I can't guarantee that Christmas lunch will be perfect this year. I will be pitching my cardboard shelter and sleeping rough from 8pm-8am.
Please spread some warmth and donate to my page if you feel able or send me wishes of a rain and snow free night.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and happy Christmas to you.
