I have chosen to run the Great North Run this year as a challenge to myself having never ran any distance before and to help raise money for a charity which is close to my heart. 

The charity i have chosen to raise money for is The Alzheimers Society, it means a lot to me as both my Grandma and my Nana have Dementia and seeing what they go through and the care they receive makes me thankful for the support and great care they receive.
