Story
Thanks very much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 4th September, I will be running the Great Scottish Run in Glasgow - all 13.5 miles of it! To motivate me through the final harsh month of training, I have decided to try to raise as much money as possible for the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
The SSPCA is Scotland's animal welfare charity whose objectives are to prevent cruelty to animals and encourage kindness and humanity in their treatment. The SSPCA receives no government or lottery funding and relies on public donations to continue their vital work rescuing and rehoming Scotland's abandoned, neglected and defenceless animals.
As many of you will know, I am a huge animal fan and would happily rehome all of the abandoned animals on the SSPCA website! However, raising money so that the animal welfare officers can continue their excellent work seems like a much more practical, space saving option!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now. Do it for the guinea pigs!
Thank You!
