I am really excited to be taking part in this 5k run for breast cancer and I realise how fortunate I am to be able to raise funds for such an important charity.

Before I ask you to sponsor my run or simply donate to this wonderful charity I thought I would give you some more information as to how it actually helps :)

Did you know that every 11 minutes a woman in the Uk recieves the devastating news that she has breast cancer.

Breast cancer care helps not only the victims of breast cancer but also the families, from accurate information to practical and emotional support, the charity's services will help women feel more in control of what is happening to their bodies and increase their understanding throughout their procedures.

Breast cancer has effected most families in the Uk including my own so now I want to give back and help support such an important charity
