I first was introduced to this charity 3 years ago when Credit-Suisse in Guernsey nominated it as their charity of the year.  It is fair to say that the whole company got behind this charity and the staff, friends and supporters raised more than the original target, and the bank choir even sang at the Christmas party.

I was so moved by the amount of people who look to this service to help them daily, and the huge benefit this small respite can provide carers of the sufferers of dementia and Alzheimer's.

Sadly we lost my husbands dad a few years ago and he was suffering from dementia in his final years, so this is close to my heart.
