Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page :0)
You may or may not know that at the end of September 2009 our family's life was turned upside down when our lovely, kind, caring, generous Dad who would do ANYTHING for ANYONE, was taken ill and diagnosed with a Grade IV Brain Tumour :0(
We were basically told by the doctors that we should go home and enjoy the time we have left with him. Fortunately, Dad was able to speak for himself and pleaded for the doctors to let him try some form of treatment.
Dad has now completed 2 lots of Chemotherapy and on the 22nd January he had an MRI scan. On 25th January we were told that Dad's tumour has responded really well to the treatment and in fact has shrunk by almost half!!!! He is now undergoing his 3rd course of treatment with a further MRI to follow after the 4th course sometime in or around May time.
To help me deal with Dad's illness I decided to join the voluntary fundraising team for Brain Tumour UK who are the leading charity committed to fighting Brain Tumours by providing support for patients and families, funding research into the latest treatments and raising awareness.
On Sunday 11th April 2010, myself My sister and My Brother, will be doing a Tandem Skydive for Brain Tumour UK (not strapped to eachother but each strapped to a trained instructor lol!!!) at Salisbury Airfield. We will be jumping out of a plane at 10,000 feet, freefalling for 5,000 feet and will then be guided down by a trained professional jumper!
We are really excited about the jump and hope to raise as much money for Brain Tumour UK as we possibly can so please sponsor us!!!!!!!!
Donating is easy through JustGiving and totally secure, just follow the given instructions and make your pledge, please don't forget to leave your full home address including postcode for Gift Aid donations!

THANK YOU in anticipation of your sponsorship from the bottom of our hearts :0)
