Story
One of my dear friends, Dr. Colin Shackell, died from a brain tumour on 21st September 2008, aged 30. He was an incredible guy and truly inspirational.
I've been meaning to run a marathon for a while and thought if I could raise some money for Salisbury Hospice in the process who cared for Colin so fabulously in his last weeks then hopefully someone else's relative or friend may benefit in future from them; to this end on Saturday 16th April I shall be running a marathon in Exmoor.
So, if you can spare some pennies to sponsor me, please do.
With fond memories of Colin,
Claire
