#showsomelove is a Social Media campaign designed to raise awareness of Maggie’s Centres. It is an opportunity for local people to show their support to people affected by cancer in their community and help us to spread the word about the services available.

The #showsomelove campaign is open to anyone, and can be as simple as a tweet or a fun fundraising event.

On Friday 13 or Saturday 14 February, get together with friends, family and colleagues or surprise a loved one? From a coffee morning or a cake sale to a romantic dinner, or even a proposal…..tweet a picture to @maggiesdundee and tell us how you are ‘showing some love’ for Maggie’s. 

It can be a selfie or standard picture of you with a partner, family member or pet that you love. It could be a slice of toast shaped in a heart, a decorative cake, #showsomelove written on a chalk board or something more creative. The more inventive the better and all tweets and posts will be retweeted and shared by @maggiesdundee and Maggie's Dundee Facebook page.
