Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I did it!!! Yesterday I took on a personal challenge of walking The Yorkshire Three Peaks.  To succeed you have to complete them in under 12 hours.  I finished in a very respectable 9 hours 20 minutes.  I have to say a big thank you to my good friend Teri-Ann, her husband Jake and their friend Craig who spurred me on and without them I am sure I wouldn't have done it in such a good time.

I decided to take on this challenge to raise money for Saint Michael's hospice in Harrogate.  As many of you know this is where my Mum was looked after in the last weeks of her life.  The care she received there was incredible.  The hospice runs solely on donations so it is important that they receive ongoing support.  My family and I support the hospice in every way we can.  You have probably seen my brother take part in various marathons in order to raise money, so I thought it was about time I stepped up and took an a challenge!

Please donate - no matter how small.  Every penny counts.  And the great news is that my work are going to match me pound for pound!

Thank you in advance for your kind support.

Love Claire xxx
