On the 22nd May last year our gorgeous youngest nephew Benjamin had spent a joyful morning playing with his big brother and cousins on what was seemingly a perfect family day!   But after singing himself to sleep for his typical afternoon nap Benjamin didn’t wake up again.  And no one has any answers for why he died.  Benjamin was just 2 years and 3 weeks old.  He was so incredibly loved and we are going to miss him forever.

Nick and I are taking part in this 10k run on 21st May 2023 alongside Laura and John and together with other family and friends to Run for Benjamin and to help with what is going to be a particularly  difficult weekend.  But also to raise money for SUDC UK, a registered, national charity dedicated to raising awareness, funding research and supporting families affected by Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC).   SUDC UK are doing incredible work helping supporting families living through their worst nightmare and importantly working towards proper research to make this type of death predictable and preventable.
