This year I was delighted to use my Tate voluntate day to support MacMillan and completed the “3 peaks challenge”  13^th September – 14^th September 2014.  As part of an open bus tour six challengers started the accent of Ben Nevis: 7:17am start: 10:35 Summit 13:05 Finish. Scafell Pike 20:00 Start 22:10 Summit 00:15 Finish. Snowdon 5:45am Start 8:30, Summit 10:30 Finish. It was a tough challenge but worthwhile. I met two lovely couples Sue and Richard / Susan and Trevor fundraising for the British Skin Care Foundation https://www.justgiving.com/SkinCancerAppeal-BSF, Ayden fundraising for Great Ormond Street https://www.justgiving.com/aydenbrown/. Our guide Ollie was amazing and our bus driver Andy absolutely hilarious, they both kept our spirts up enabling us to complete the challenge.  

The next event is a Tate coffee and cake day 19^th September, Team Tate:  Claire Harman, Dawn Hamlet, Sophie Read, Rachel Wilson hope to raise lot’s of money for Macmillan because they are an amazing worthwhile charity.
