Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

On Sunday 12th June we will be joining other CAFOD supporters' on a 10 Mile sponsored bike ride to raise funds towards CAFOD’s projects which are tackling poverty and injustice in the developing world.

For example by raising £100 we could pay one month's salary for a teacher in one of the regions supported by CAFOD. Given a good education, children can go on to earn a living and support families and communities. Education is also helping promote a more peaceful future in wore-torn countries. Please help us to make a difference today by sponsoring us online. The money you give will go to CAFOD's trusted overseas partners, who work with local communities to combat poverty and its causes. Find out more at www.cafod.org.uk.

Donating through JustGiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Catholic Agency For Overseas Development gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, JustGiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

This spring sees further challenges to CAFOD and its partners in the developing world. The continuing financial crisis and  the fall in the value of the pound against the US$ has lessened the strength of our grants to partners in countries such as Haiti, Brazil.
In spite of the credit crunch at home, please consider sponsoring us now!
Many thanks for your support.

Claire, Isabelle and Imogen.
