Most of you will already know, my brother Andrew had a horrific motorbike accident just over a year ago. Andrew had many serious injuries but the most serious by far was a ruptured aorta. He was miles away from hospital on a country road, and was taken to The Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham by The Air Ambulance. When he arrived at hospital he was taken straight in for an emergency operation which saved his life. All of the staff involved with Andrews life saving surgery and his on going rehabilitation have been amazing, but the fact is, if he wasn't taken to the hospital by the air ambulance he wouldn't be here today. So I have decided to shave my much loved hair and hopefully raise some money to show my gratitude for saving my little bro.
