Story
On the 1st February 2017 a great friend of mine received the news that her father was diagnosed with advanced prostrate cancer. What followed this was a journey of chemo with Peter feeling stronger each day.
Feeling determined Peter has decided to follow the footsteps of Dick Whittington and walk from Gloucester to the city of London, around 110 miles through the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire Buckinghamshire and the River Thames for the last leg.
Peter is hoping to raise £25,000 to £50,000 and the money will be split between Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity’s prostrate cancer research and Prostrate Cancer Uk.
I am joining Peter and his family and friends on the last day of the walk by completing a 9 mile walk dressed as a Disney character to be confirmed......
Please help me support this wonderful charity.
Many thanks,
Claire
