Story

It's been quite a year. I asked one of our closest friends who was suffering with cancer to choose my charity for this year. He chose St David's.

I was meant to take on the dragon... Ironman Wales (yesterday!). After 3 bouts of Covid this was a challenge too far!

The year shaped up like this...

Wild Boar 70.3 - Covid stopped play!

Long Course Weekend, Tenby - 2.4 mile swim, 70 mile bike, Marathon --> Complete

Swansea 70.3 - DNF (missed bike cut off!)

The last piece of the jigsaw for this year is the London Marathon on 2nd October.

What I didn't know when this year began was that I would be running the marathon in memory of the man who picked the charity - our dear friend Rob who lost his battle on 30 August.

If you can spare any money to support my cause, it would mean a great deal ❤️
