Just about everyone I know has been affected by cancer in one way or another - we all seem to have friends or family who have had the dreaded diagnosis.

I think that we need to do whatever we can to fundraise for the charities, such as Marie Curie Cancer Care, which support those suffering from cancer in their hour of need.
