On 9th Nov I will be walking over 20ft of hot coals to raise money for the Cats Protection League so please dig dep and give whatever you can, as, if nothing else this definately proves I am dafter than I look!!!

I blame my mum entirely for this, as she gets a regular magazine from CPL that she then passes onto me, that of course, advertised the fire walk and so here we are - those of you that know me, know I'm not one to be faced with an exciting challenge and not go for it - wise or not!

The picture is of Smudge, who came to us via a dustbin - truly - my boyfriend, Spencer, came back with the paper one morning only to present me with the most gorgeous kitten you have ever seen and telling me they were being given away free with the paper!

The horrible reality was that he had been dumped in our dustbin and jumped out, loudly following Spencer!  Despite scouring the neighbourhood looking for an owner (and hoping I wouldn't find one), thankfully no-one claimed him, so now we spend our time pampering to his various needs including only drinking from a glass, fussy food demands and early morning head butts!

Please do dig deep, Smudge lives a life of luxury, most aren't that lucky.
