Story
St Cuthbert’s Hospice provides specialist care to people with life-limiting illnesses, people approaching the end of life and the bereaved. We make no charge for our services, ensuring Hospice care is available to everyone. It costs over £2 million each year to keep St Cuthbert's Hospice running.
As most of you are aware, my youngest sister Paula has been diagnosed with incurable cancer. She has spent the last month at St Cuthberts Hospice and they have been brilliant with her, keeping her comfortable and helping keep her smile as bright as possible.
Paula wishes to come home to continue her care, which the Hospice is supporting and doing everything in their power to ensure this happens. Nothing has been too much trouble for them in the care for Paula, those who know her know she can be stubborn (typical woman).
As a way of saying thank you, I'd like to raise some money to help others who need to be cared for by these wonderful people.
