Hi Sam and Claire here, we are raising money for Cancer Research UK.  We all know someone who has been diagnosed, fighting, survived or sadly lost their fight to Cancer.  Cancer affects everyone in many different ways.

Many of you will know Claire was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in May 2022, she underwent many sessions of chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy and has now been given the all clear.

As a family we have seen what Cancer does not only to the person fighting the disease but to the family and friends supporting.

In raising money and supporting Cancer Research we hope that this will bring about new treatments and going forward when people are diagnosed, there may be less invasive treatments.

So, in order to get you all to donate your money to this absolutely amazing charity, we have signed up to ‘Cancer Research Ultimate Ballroom’.  So, what does this mean … in 8 weeks, we will be learning to dance the jive and then we will be strutting our stuff at a Strictly Ballroom Black Tie ‘ event at Aston Villa football stadium, where we will have a judging panel and compete against other dancers all raising money for this charity.

All donations small or big are greatly received.  We promise to post pictures of our training sessions and the main event.
