I’m running for Alzheimer’s because I have seen it take two of my Nana’s and seen first hand how devastating it is when this disease takes over and literally takes your loved ones away gradually. My Nana died in 2017 but she had already gone long before then and it was really painful to watch her slip away. She was a lovely bubbly person who would do anything for anyone until Alzheimer’s took over. She is greatly missed by all the family. I hope I can raise some money to help this well deserved cause and make her proud.
