Story

I will be running 100 miles in February for Refuge. On any given day, Refuge supports 6,500 women and children. Just £10 could provide a woman arriving at a Refuge with the support she needs for her first night. Every £1 makes a difference. Thank you

I have suffered at the hands of domestic Violence and this wonderful charity helped me through some of my darkest days I was subjected to daily beatings, mental torture, rape and kidnappings ! I was  thrown from a moving car , thrown down numerous flights of stairs on many many occasions and this is a fraction of the abuse I suffered at the hands of an ex partner.

The charity helped me get counselling for my PTSD which I still struggle with daily

Love should not hurt and we should not bare scars and bruises

please dig deep and remember I cannot run a bath so please send encouraging memes

Big Love Barefoot xxx
