Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This year I have decided to take part in the VHI Women's Mini Marathon, which for those of you who know me, is a pretty big deal considering I get out of breath when I walk up a flight up stairs..
I am not trekking 10 kilometres just for the craic though. As an avid dog lover, I am going to do my best to try collect up a bitta cash for all the wonderful doggos at Dogs Trust.
Dogs Trust have done amazing things since they opened in Ireland in 2005. They provide courses on responsible dog ownership to children in schools throughout Ireland. They have introduced a Subsidised Neutering Scheme enabling people on Social Welfare to avail of discounted neutering. They have rehomed over 6000 doggos and puppers. Dogs Trust do not receive any Goverment funding so their work would not be possible without the support they recieve and hopefully continue to receive from generous doners and fundraisers.
One day I dream of getting a full time job with Dogs Trust, but in the mean time this is the closest I can get to taking part in their borkalicious organisation.
