We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am participating in the Great Scottish Half Marathon in September and I am looking for your generous donations. This is my first half marathon, therefore I am going to give this my biggest effort to train hard and raise the money for Alzheimer's Research UK.

Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity. As research experts, we fund world-class pioneering scientists to find preventions, treatments and a cure for dementia. There are over 820,000 people in the UK living with dementia today and this number if will increase as our population ages. With no Government funding we rely entirely on our generous and energetic supporters. Money that you raise is so important to our mission to defeat dementia.

So please dig deep and donate now.
