Event: Team Amnesty London to Cambridge Cycle Ride 2018, on 1 July 2018
London to Cambridge cycle to raise funds for Amnesty International UK. Help Amnesty protect human rights in the UK and around the globe by unleashing your pedal power on this beautiful route!

Story

Neither of us are particularly up for sponsored stuff and we’d happily cycle 60k for funsies anyway (probably) but this is a little different.

In the troubling times we are living in the world of Amnesty International is vital. They are working to reunite refugees with their families (https://www.amnesty.org.uk/issues/refugees-migrants-and-asylum), to free those in prisoned for speaking out about human rights (https://www.amnesty.org.uk/actions/urgent-release-palestinian-teen-activist-ahed-tamimi) and are championing LGBTQ rights in a world where falling in love has cost people their lives. (https://www.amnesty.org.uk/issues/lgbti-rights)

So if this makes you read a little more about the work of amnesty international that’s great. If it makes you sign up to their newsletters and campaigns that would be a really good move. If you read this and you’d like to donate some of your hard earned money that is entirely up to you and there are millions who will thank you for it.

Have a browse and a chat and a think.

Many thanks,

Claire and Becci
