Story
Two years ago I decided never ever to run 13 miles again....and yet, here I am. Back in January my friend Amanda (who is incidentally obsessed with running) suggested that we should enter the Great North Run; sod's law I got in and she didn't. So Amanda went down the charity route and I said I would raise half the amount if it was a charity I approved of. I was happy with Breast Cancer Care as my maternal Grandmother died of Breast Cancer at home in South Shields when my Mum was only 17. So, as I run the final few (agonising) miles along the cliffs at Shields I will be running for Elsie.
Just in case you're thinking you won't bother sponsoring us I want to assure you that I hate running more than about 8 miles, I haven't put in the mileage and I'm going to find the whole ordeal an absolute nightmare. Please sponsor me if you want me to go through this pain!
Cheers x
