Story
In Jan I will be running a 10k trail to fundraise for SANDS Lothian.
Over the last few years I've seen a number of friends affected by stillbirth and devastated by the impact this loss has on them and their families. One of the brave ladies that I will be running with has recently set up a reserved fund with SANDS Lothian in memory of her daughter Lyle, which supports bereaved siblings. Any money we raise will be donated to this fund. You can read a little bit of their story below;
"On 30 August 2019, our world was smashed into a million tiny pieces when I woke up to find my baby twin girl Lyle not breathing. We tried desperately to bring Lyle back, as did the paramedics and staff in our local hospital. However our beautiful girl was gone at aged only 22 days old.Me and Stevie have had excellent support from various charities including Sands Lothians. But there is less support out there for Baby Lyle’s two sisters Cameron age 5 and Alba who is only 4 months old now. The death of her baby sister has had a significant impact on wee Cameron and Jamie and Stephen are paying privately for therapy for.We have set up a fund with Sands Lothians in memory of our beautiful girl- called Lyle’s Light."
We would really appreciate any donations you can spare.
