At the start of the year we lost my Dad - the wonderful, funny, kind and utterly bonkers Brian to a sudden stroke. 

I'm doing the Great North Run this September in his memory and to raise money for the Stroke Association. 

I've done the run a couple of times before - but now I'm older, slower and fatter - so it should be a laugh!
