The Sian Reeds Run 2022

Sophie Kingsley-Cabell is raising money for The Indee Rose Trust
In memory of Sian Reeds
On March 2nd 2025 The Indee Rose Trust become the proud owners of what will be called Indee’s Wish House. We think it will be the perfect place to create lots of special memories for brave children diagnosed with brain and spinal cancers.

Story

On Thursday 17th November, our City of Portsmouth College Uniformed Protective Services (UPS) staff and students, will be attempting to run as many miles as possible in memory of our late student Sian Reeds.

Sian, a keen runner, sadly passed away in November 2020, of DIPG (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma) which is a type of brain tumour.

We would like to raise awareness of this awful aggressive type of brain tumour and also raise as much money as we can for The Indee Rose Trust who support children during and after treatment for brain and spinal tumours.

This is a charity very close to Sian's family.

We would love to surpass the 481 miles that was ran last year which is mind blowing as a collective group.
To put that into perspective, this is the distance from Portsmouth ➡️ Loch Lomond in Scotland!

If you would like to donate, please give what you can and any amount is much appreciated for a fantastic cause.

Many thanks,

The Uniformed Protective Services Team @ City of Portsmouth College
