Story
Every year the City of London Choir sings to packed audiences in London's finest concert halls and brings the spirit of Christmas to thousands. We always make a point of raising as much money as we can for London's homeless. This year the pandemic has stopped us all in our tracks: there is no live singing, no collection tins - but people are still sleeping rough all around us and the show must go on to help them.
We'd like to invite all our extended choir family to give generously to St Mungo's - perhaps what you might have spent on a concert ticket, or what you'd have put in the bucket afterwards?
There's never a good time to be homeless but the bleak winter months are the worst of all. The nights are long and dark, and the weather cold and wet. The need for St Mungo's services become even more urgent in the months ahead to help end homelessness and rebuild lives.
Please give generously and help us provide a little comfort and joy in these darkest of days.
Thank you, and Happy Christmas.
