Story
Cycle2Zero is an epic cycling adventure, undertaken by m2m's committed supporters. The challenge usually takes place in one of the African countries where we work, but this year due to travel restrictions caused by COVID-19, for the first time ever, the cycle will be virtual and open to everyone! Together we will collectively pedal, run, swim, or hike 5,000km, and raise vital funds to support m2m's frontline health heroes - Mentor Mothers.
The Citi team's challenge is the "Harriet Challenge". In support of m2m, over the weekend of 23-25 October, as a team we will be covering 200 miles - the same distance as Mentor Mother Harriet Mutesi cycles each and every month in Uganda to provide vital health support to her clients.
Since m2m was founded in 2001, over 11 million women and children under the age of two have been reached with direct services, and over 11,000 jobs have been created for women living with HIV. Our dream is of a world where no mother dies of AIDS and no baby is born with HIV.
