I am running for London Marathon 2018 because Independent Age provides support and help to elderly who would like to live independently. Although working in Head Office of a nursing agency, I hear stories from branches and colleagues how hard lives could be for elderly nowadays. Loneliness, no one who'd like to listen and just simply aging make them hard to cope day to day. Independent Age is a charity our company is always sponsoring. Fun raising can be fun: cake baking, dressing down, etc. I hope by running 26 miles (without stopping) I can inspire anyone who have determination and drive to run for them!
