I am taking part in a 13 mile sponsored walk around Andover area from midnight on 3rd July, in aid of the Countess of Brecknock Hospice in Andover and would really appreciate your support.

 

This particular charity is particularly close to my heart as my mum was in the hospice just before she died, and am glad of the opportunity to give something back.

 

The hospice is a six-bedded in-patient unit and not only provides palliative medicine and terminal care, but many patients are admitted for short term symptom control and then return home to have many months of improved quality of life, possibly before being re-admitted for terminal care.
