Story
This September, the CIE team of staff (plus a few friends!) will take on their annual challenge of cycling 500+ miles through France in just 3 days!
We have previously raised over £40,000 for a variety of deserving charities doing the cycling challenges. This year we will be supporting British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research, as well as NHS Charities Together by supporting NHS Charities in their work, we can help the NHS to go above and beyond what would normally be possible and ensure that everyone can have better healthcare.
The Challenge:
CIE's TEAM AKUVOX will leave the UK on Wednesday 28th September sailing to St Malo arriving early the following morning ready to take on the Cahors Cycling Challenge.

We start cycling from under the historic walls of the maritime city of St Malo, heading from Brittany through parts of Normandy before turning South to cross the Loire to our first nights’ rest in a holiday village near Angers.
Friday 30th September: Angers - Limoges
After an early breakfast on Day 2, we will follow the Loire through Saumur and then the Vienne and finally the Creuse river valley taking us South to Limoges.

From Limoges we continue South to the source of the Dordogne, passing Rocamadour to the finish in Cahors, home to the French Malbec wine, revered by Tzars, Popes and Princes.
